Day three begins today. We are over two hundred strong in our Facebook group, not to mention the notebookers over on Twitter too.
Many notebookers started back to school yesterday, but still took some time to write and share. Outstanding! This is a long journey. There will be days when you forget or can't get it done. The most important thing when those days happen is to show yourself grace. Be kind to yourself and try not to beat yourself up for making a mistake. The next thing that you must do is COME BACK! I wanted to take a moment and share gratitude to all of the notebookers who are bravely sharing their writing. Share as much as you feel comfortable sharing. If you're writing about something sensitive that you aren't comfortable sharing, blur the page, or write about your writing...but please, still show up. When we get to read the entries, we connect. That's been my experience. Connecting with friends I've known for years or friends that are new to me. Learning about how someone is dealing with grief or frustration or celebration- all of these things connect us. Thank you again for working to make this a safe and supportive community! It's not too late to join! Are you interested? Use the hashtag on Twitter: #100daysofnotebooking or join our Facebook group! You are welcome!
