It's Monday morning and I have a few things I'd like to share with our community...

Many of us are returning to the classroom today after winter break. I've heard many concerns about keeping up with this during that time. I get it. It won't be easy, but I ask you to remember the feeling you get while you write or after you finish your notebook page. Hold onto that. YOU are worth that time. Carve time into your day to hold onto this practice. Remember it's not about how perfect your page is, it's about showing up to the page. It matters. You matter.

One other thing I want to share with you...come back if you've missed a day. We are here. We are here for support and encouragement. If you finish twenty of the hundred days have you failed? NO. You wrote for twenty days. Be kind to yourself.

Finally (and this one is the hardest)...stop apologizing. YOU are the boss of your own notebook. YOU decide what goes into it. YOU decide what you share. YOU are good enough to create pages that are valuable and beautiful. We all apologize too much. Words are powerful. What if we decide to say THANK YOU instead of sorry?!?! (I continue to work on this, myself.)

I am so grateful that this community has reached more than three hundred people. I never expected this and I'm so grateful for each one of you! Happy Notebooking!

It’s true that we apologize too much and also compare and judge and a million other things that destroy our joy. So let’s just write and consider and be inspired and forgive, mostly ourselves.
